Education:

Sherri Tanner's term ended May 31, 2024, and the guild is currently in need of a member to volunteer to chair the Education Committee. Members, please consider volunteering for this position. You may want to team up with another member or members. There will be plenty of assistance available from those who have been in this position, if needed.

Agave Quilters Guild's talented quilters are eager to share their knowledge and experience by teaching various quilting classes each month. These classes are for members only and take place in our Oakwood Sewing Room (OSR) on the 3rd and 4th Thursdays from 9:00am-4:00pm. The cost per student is $15 and is paid directly to the instructor. This is a great way to meet new quilting friends and learn a new technique at the same time.

Sep 12, 2024	SUN PAINTING You will need one yard of muslin cut into 4 fat quarters, an 18x20" hard portable surface (cardboard, foam core, mat board works well), plastic to cover surface, small brushes, plastic gloves and lots of flat objects to be used as your dye resists. Dyes, water buckets and a few brushes will be provided. Wear clothes suitable for painting.	Art Quilters Friendship Group
