Our speakers this month are Raymond and Jeffrey of 3 Dudes Quilting Designs. After taking a beginning quilting class at A Quilter's Bee in Peoria, AZ, having never sewn before, they came home and excitedly started talking about opening a quilt shop. A year was spent learning, studying the retail market, and planning their shop which opened in January of 2008.

Our speaker, Martha Walker, is a local award winning quilter who has been quilting since she was a teen. She began exhibiting her quilts in 1994. Her patterns are published through her company Wagons West Designs. Martha has published several books and also teaches at 3 Dudes Quilting Designs. A class titled "Blessings" by Martha on Penny Wool Rugs is also planned for our members in April and requires the purchase of her book and a kit fee.
